We're pleased to announce that Be the Spark has been awarded a Totem Award Certificate of Excellence by the Public Relations Society of America.

The Totem Award is a symbol of creativity and accomplishment for the PR industry in the Puget Sound area. The program is designed to recognize projects and programs that demonstrate excellence in PR and rise above the competition.  The Award was given out on February 9, 2012 at the PRSA banquet.

Congratulations to all involved in making Be the Spark such a success, including but not limited to:

  • Rose Lincoln Hamilton, The Greater Tacoma Community Foundation

  • Amy Frampton & Amy Kim, Synaxis Consulting

Comments (1):

Yeah, in pilctios they call it going native, (an unfortunate vestige of the old British colonial system) when a community representative for an elected official forgets who pays their salary. Sometimes you just have to do the right thing and quit.
