Wilson High School
Scholarship Program
At Wilson High School  

The following scholarship is available to graduating students at Wilson High School.  

The Douglas D. Ferguson Scholarship Fund: Established in 1992, by Douglas D. Ferguson's mother as a memorial to her beloved son.  

Eligibility Requirements:
             • Current graduating senior from Wilson High School.
             • Must enroll at a vocational, two-year, or four-year year college of university. 
             • Must have demonstrated financial need.  

The Fuchs-Harden Educational Fund #2: Established in 1993, through the last will and testament of Anna R. Harden. This scholarship award rotates each year between high schools within Pierce County.  

Eligibility Requirements:
             • High school senior residing in Pierce County;
             • One award is available per Pierce County high school given on a rotating basis; 
             • Enroll in a college or university within 18 months from graduation; 
             • Maintain a satisfactory grade point average;
             • Financial need will be considered once all other criteria is met.  

The William W. Kilworth Scholarship Fund: Established in 1985 under the terms of the last will and testament of William W. Kilworth.  

Eligibility Requirements: 
             • Current graduating seniors from Clover Park High School, Lincoln High School,
               Stadium High School, or Wilson High School.
             • Must enroll during the next fall term after graduation at the University of Puget Sound,
               University of Washington, Washington State University, University of Oregon or 
               Oregon State University.
             • Must demonstrate financial need.  

The Victor L. and Elise W. Lyon Scholarship Fund: Established in 1992, by Elise W. Lyon as a memorial to her beloved husband, Victor. Victor L. Lyon was born in Tacoma in 1918. He and Elise married in 1947. Mrs. Lyon wanted to perpetuate the community involvement that she and her husband shared for so many years. This scholarship award rotates each year between high schools within
Pierce County.  

Eligibility Requirements:
             • Current graduating senior from a Pierce County High School.
             • Must enroll at a vocational, two-year, or four-year year college of university.
             • Must demonstrate financial need.
