I hope all of you are experiencing the wonder of this season. At the Community Foundation, we see that wonder through our philanthropic partners - our donors and fundholders - as they make year-end grant recommendations to the causes they care most about. It is the stories that our donors create through their giving that makes the Community Foundation a very special place to work. Our donors care about hungry families, warm seniors, young people attending college and so much more. It is an inspiration and an honor to work with so many generous members of our community.
In this issue of The Community Connection, you will read about one of our philanthropic partners - Lloyd Silver. Lloyd is a generous supporter of so many organizations in Pierce County through his fund managed here at the Community Foundation. His story is one of generosity and care - supporting organizations that he was involved with as a child, that he is involved with now, and those that are important to his children.
