Apply for a Grant  

The Greater Tacoma Community Foundation invests in the community by making grants to vital nonprofit agencies that are turning donations into action.   To qualify for a grant from one of the Community Foundation’s competitive grantmaking programs, organizations must:

* Be a 501(c)3 tax-exempt nonprofit organization or be affiliated with a tax-exempt organization
* Serve the residents of Pierce County 
* Not discriminate on the basis of age, race, color, religion, sexual orientation, physical or mental disabilities, gender or national origin; be inclusive with clients, volunteers and staff.

Agencies can apply to the following competitive grantmaking programs: 

The Vibrant Community Program
The Vibrant Community grantmaking program supports initiatives that address the five elements of a vibrant community.

The Youth Against Violence Fund
The YAV Fund supports initiatives that provide effective alternatives to violence for Pierce County Youth.

The Fund For Women & Girls supports initiatives that address critical issues facing women and girls by providing grants to programs that foster self-esteem, self-reliance, and empowerment.

 The Green Partnership Fund
The Green Partnership Fund supports projects that achieve the Pierce Conservation District’s Mission.
