Vibrant Community
Just like many other things, philanthropy has continued to change and develop since the inception of The Greater Tacoma Community Foundation in 1981. Never satisfied with the status quo, the Community Foundation has spent time over the last two years discussing and researching how we can best make a defined impact in our community. The result of both the vision and the strategy was the "Vibrant Community” program.
This program was developed to provide community members both inspiration and hope for what Pierce County can become, as well as a philanthropic guide to use as a framework for our own philanthropy.
