We invite you to join us at a special event to witness some of the great things going on in the Eastside neighborhoods of Tacoma and to learn more about Imagine Eastside. We would be honored if you could join us for a tour and presentation about the proposed new Eastside community and aquatics center. Recently, local youth worked and dreamed alongside fellow community members to imagine a teaching kitchen for the Eastside community center and on this tour you will also observe young people presenting their design ideas for a recording studio and much more. Imagine a place on Tacoma’s Eastside where kids explore their passions, learn and grow. Below are all the details for the event which is hosted by Holly Bamford. We hope you can join us!

Monday, October 24

3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.: Tour of Eastside and proposed community center. Meet at Metro Parks Headquarters, 4702 S 19^thSt, Tacoma

5:00 p.m.: Reception for youth and families

5:30–6:00 p.m.: Youth design presentations to Metro Parks Board of Commissioners
