Project Homeless Connect brings together services and resources under one roof, on one day, to offer assistance to people experiencing homelessness. This event relies on volunteers to help the most vulnerable in our community to navigate the different agencies that are available to assist them.
In 2017 Associated Ministries began convening Community Quarterly Meetings (CQM) in partnership with other Pierce County homeless and housing service providers; the goal of these meetings was to create an energizing space to gather regularly to learn about, discuss and take action on the crisis of homelessness in our community.

Hire 253, "Ending homelessness, one job at a time.", is the largest hiring event of its kind in Tacoma with over 80 employers from multiple industries. More than 500 jobs available, on-the-spot interviews, job offers, assistance with resume, applications and FREE hot lunch to first 500 attendees prepared by Goodwill's Culinary students.
