We strive to:

Increase visibility of the arts through Arts Downtown.
Promote our community as an arts destination to increase tourism.
Cultivate governmental support and funding sources for the arts.
Celebrate the diverse and cultural wealth of the arts.
Promote education in the arts and opportunities for all ages.
Support and increase the awareness of the artists and arts organizations.

Pursue the creation of a Community Arts Center to cultivate performing arts, visual arts and education of the arts.

Arts Downtown (ADT) manages Puyallup’s Outdoor Sculpture Gallery. ADT is the umbrella arts organization for the Greater Puyallup Region. We hold the 501(c)3 Non-Profit tax status for our affiliate: The Tapestry Singers. ADT curates two art galleries in downtown Puyallup–The Premiere Gallery, located at the Puyallup Activity Center and City Gallery, 5th floor of Puyallup City Hall. As a community partner, we’re active with the Puyallup Main Street Association (helping with its annual Steins and Stems Walk). Each year our members work as docents at the Washington State Fair Fine Arts Gallery and provide  prizes for Puyallup School District’s Vesey-Munson Juried Art Show.
