Categories: Arts & Culture, Education, Environment

The mission of BYTM/WayOut Kids is to educate children through music and multimedia by creating a motivating environment for learning. Our team uses curriculum, music, animation, video games and characters as a way to engage and assist parents and teachers in educating children from minority and low income communities about important issues that improve their life choices, overall health and long term success.

Our programs have been geographically located in Pierce County with a focus on Tacoma. Demographically we provide programs for low income minority youth who may be difficult to reach through traditional educational platforms. Through the collaboration of our many partners our reach and programs have expanded to include low income areas through-out Pierce County. Through our programs and the performing arts, we have been able to educate youth on environmental issues, health and nutrition and kindergarten readiness.
