Every Child. One Community. Cradle to College & Career.

The Foundation serves as a catalyst for collective action to build a Tacoma-wide culture of high expectations and shared responsibility for student success among parents, educators, AND community.
By serving as a collective impact backbone organization, the Foundation is building and strengthening the GRADUATE TACOMA! movement to reach one shared community-built goal to increase by 50% both the HS graduation (from 58% to 87%) and Post-secondary completion (from 31% to 47%) by the class of 2020.
Success will require measuring and closing gaps in access, opportunities and achievement for all students.
The Foundation works with more than 150 community organizations in alignment with Tacoma Public Schools to impact a common set of student and community indicators.

The Foundation has 3 community action teams focused on student improvement: 1) Early Learning & Reading 2) Out-of-school & Summer Learning and 3) College Bound Support.
