OHM provides short-term emergency shelter to homeless families with children in East Pierce County.
OHM is a short-term emergency shelter program run by Helping Hand House. During a 3-to-7 day stay in a local motel, OHM provides safety and security to families with children as they work to address their barriers to permanent housing. Light case management includes helping a family navigate their path through Pierce County’s housing services support system, basic hygiene items, and gas and grocery purchase assistance.
