For more than 135 years, the YMCA has ensured access to balanced health for all members of the community through three areas of focus: youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. We are committed to: nurturing the potential of our youth through programs that build confidence, promote positive values, and achieving success; improving the community’s health and wellness through achieving a balance of spirit, mind, and body; and giving back and supporting the communities we engage. Our programs include: before and after school academic enrichment and care, preschool, camping activities, environmental education, teen leadership, the arts, gang prevention, swimming lessons, recreational sports, personal training, group fitness, obesity/diabetes prevention, family wellness, counseling, military outreach, and financial assistance.
