Emergency Food Network-The Repack Project

The Repack Project this Saturday has openings in the morning and afternoon session! Volunteers will be repackaging dried, fresh or frozen bulk foods in to smaller, family-sized quantities. Once repackaged the food is ready to be distributed to the Pierce County emergency food sites that we serve. When: Saturday, October 1, 2016. Pick from our morning session (9:00 – 11:30 am) or our afternoon session (12:00 – 2:30 pm). Where: Emergency Food Network’s Distribution Center, Lakewood (directions provided with registration confirmation) Volunteer Requirements: The minimum age to volunteer individually is 16. Youth ages 14-15 can volunteer with a parent or guardian. Volunteers need to be able to lift 40 pounds either individually or with a partner.
