Enjoy a delicious meal while showing your support for the Museum and early learning in our community. This action-packed hour includes a conversation with Dr. Ali Modarres, Director of Urban Studies at UW Tacoma. Ali has been named Community Champion by Futurewise, a Seattle based non-profit that specializes in creating livable cities. We are lucky to have Ali in our own backyard, advocating the importance of honoring children in our community. During the Lunch, we will also award the Deean Marsh Great Friend to Children Award to to the Ben B. Cheney Foundation for their exemplary work in our community and demonstration of their commitment to creating a better life for children in our area.

Gifts made at the Lunch provide critical operating dollars for the Museum and community programs like Play to Learn. You will have an opportunity at the Lunch to make a contribution, sharing with those in need of the Museum’s unique brand of learning through play.
