“1918: A Year of Destiny”

Events of 1918 left a legacy that echoes down to life in Tacoma a century later – from Camp Lewis, to shipbuilding, to creation of the Port Commission, to the opening of the Pantages and Rialto theaters.

Exhibit continues through December 1, 2018

The Tacoma Historical Society museum is open Wednesday through Saturday, from 11 am to 4 pm, and by appointment.

Sponsored by a City of Tacoma Heritage Project Grant, admission is free.
