The Greater Tacoma Community Foundation Emergency Relief Fund was created in 2018. Anyone can contribute any amount of money to the fund. One hundred percent of contributions to the fund will be used to support immediate and long-term emergency and disaster relief and recovery efforts in Pierce County.
Distributions and grants will be paid to eligible nonprofit organizations and may (but will not be limited to) provide support for:
Home repair and temporary housing needs
Other purposes approved by GTCF’s Board of Directors and consistent with the Fund’s charitable purposes
A thriving community is one where your health outcomes can’t be predicated by zip code, educational attainment, income or race.
A thriving community requires that all residents have their basic needs of food, shelter, and safety met.
A thriving community supports a workforce system that creates and offers employers, individuals, and communities the opportunity to achieve and sustain economic prosperity.
