What other jobs or positions have you held?

From 2010 to 2024, I served in multiple leadership roles at the Tacoma Employees Retirement System (TERS), culminating in the role of Retirement Director. I oversaw the operations of $2.1 billion defined benefit plan serving more than 6,000 active and retired members. As Chief Investment Officer, I led investment, strategy, manager selection, asset allocation, and worked closely with the Retirement Board to enhance fiduciary governance and education. Prior to my time at TERS, I led fixed income manager research for North America and Europe at Russell Investments, managing a team across four offices and maintaining direct coverage of U.S. Core and Core Plus strategies. I hold a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) designation and earned a Master of Management from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University with concentrations in Finance, Management, Managerial Economics, and International Business. I also hold a B.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from the University of Iowa.
