When did you start working with Greater Tacoma Community Foundation (GTCF)?

September 2026

Briefly describe what you do in your role with GTCF

I facilitate legacy and charitable gift planning conversations that connect donors' values with community needs, helping grow and preserve philanthropic resources for the benefit of Pierce County and the greater Puget Sound, today and into the future.

What is the most exciting part of your role with GTCF?

I am excited by the opportunity to bring together donors, advisors, and community organizations around a shared vision for lasting impact. I love helping donors turn their values into meaningful legacy plans, collaborating with professional advisors to serve clients effectively, and learning from the inspiring organizations throughout the Puget Sound that are working every day to make our communities stronger and more resilient.

What other jobs or positions have you held?

I have served as a Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Puget Sound, earned my Washington State insurance license and worked with small businesses to enhance employee benefits, and most recently led legacy and gift planning efforts for MultiCare Foundations. Each of these experiences helped me build meaningful connections throughout the South Sound, a community I have been grateful to call home since moving to Tacoma in 2022.

Outside of GTCF, what enjoyable activity do you engage in? What brings you joy?

I find joy in creative activities like writing, coloring, playing my trumpet, cooking, and baking.

What activity, place, or event do you recommend other people check out in Pierce County?

I love getting out and experiencing all that Pierce County has to offer, from local events and live music to the incredible parks and waterfront scenery. I'm also a big fan of discovering local coffee shops and restaurants.

What is the most inspiring book that you have read and why?

My favorite book is Walt Disney: An American Original by Bob Thomas. I’m inspired by Walt Disney’s vision, determination, and boundless imagination, which enabled him to turn ambitious ideas into reality.
