What is the most exciting part of your role with GTCF?

Learning new things and collaboration.

What other jobs or positions have you held?

I founded a health care company with my husband after our two sons were in high school. Before that I invested in and owned apartments and assisted living communities.

What activity, place, or event do you recommend other people check out in Pierce County?

I randomly went to a concert at Jazzbones recently and it was a lot of fun!

What is the most inspiring book that you have read and why?

Sane Asylums. I work in behavioral health long term care, and the book describes a peaceful and enriching environment for individuals living with mental health needs like schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorders.
