When did you start working with Greater Tacoma Community Foundation (GTCF)?

Briefly describe what you do in your role with GTCF

In my role, I support day-to-day accounting operations by entering grant data, performing monthly bank and investment reconciliations, and assisting with accounts payable processes. I also manage the corporate credit card reconciliations while contributing to various accounting functions as needed.

What is the most exciting part of your role with GTCF?

What excites me most is getting exposure to different areas of accounting and seeing how everything ties together. I really enjoy the problem-solving side of reconciliations and digging into discrepancies, because it challenges me to think critically. At the same time, I like knowing that the work I’m doing contributes to accurate financial reporting and stronger processes.

What other jobs or positions have you held?

Tax preparer... Mostly for my family.

Outside of GTCF, what enjoyable activity do you engage in? What brings you joy?

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, especially hiking, camping, and swimming.
