December 3 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 6:00 pm on Thursday, repeating until March 25, 2021

Free

The Black Robe Podcast is the online messenger of Pierce County’s Black/African descent community. Hosts Carol Mitchell and Anzhane Slaughter are women of color and social influencers in their respective demographics. Baby Boomers and Millenials alike will enjoy their lively, inter-generational dialogue, their commentary on current events, their provocative interviews with justice system leaders and activists, and their timely information about upcoming social justice events and activities.

Each week, Mitchell and Slaughter advance their case for equity and justice, then clothe themselves in the symbolic “black robe” to deliver verdicts on the region’s anti-racism progress.

Tune in!
