4:00 PM Doors open with red carpet coverage | 5:00 PM Oscars ceremony begins

The Grand Cinema brings the glamour of the Oscars ceremony to downtown Tacoma with paparazzi on the red carpet, professional photos taken with award trophies, audience forecast voting, giveaways, and hosted entertainment by local personalities.

Featuring a no-host bar, raffle prizes, and silent auction. All event proceeds will support operations and programs at The Grand.

SUGGESTED ATTIRE & COSTUME CONTEST
Guests are encouraged to wear festive attire or participate in the costume contest by dressing as their favorite character from a film—it can be a recent film or one of your all-time favorite characters from any movie! Costume Contest participants will be called to the stage during breaks in the ceremony. Favorites will be selected by audience applause with the help of our handy “Applause-O-Meter.” Prizes will be awarded to several audience favorites.
