It’s one of the most universal experiences in the world: the excitement of watching the clock countdown to a new year. Few holidays are as poignant as New Year’s Eve, when humanity expresses their gratitude for the past year and their hope for the next one.

On December 31, the City of Tacoma and Downtown: On the Go! are partnering with Kim Archer and Foster’s Creative to bring ReLive NYE to Tollefson Plaza.

This event is a monument to the enduring joy of New Year’s Eve, and beauty of our community. The concert will showcase the talent and diversity of Tacoma, featuring all-Tacoma bands, performers, visual artists, and food trucks. At midnight, all attendees will gather together at the mainstage to count down to 2019.

This free, all-ages event begins at 6pm on New Year’s Eve, and continues until 12:30 a.m. Rain or shine, come join us in Tollefson Plaza for a night of hope and excitement, as we commemorate one of humankind’s most meaningful traditions.
