Pierce County and Tacoma Library invite participants September 7, 2023 from 3-4pm to a Poetry in the Park Walk.
Poetry in the Park is a guided walk connecting people to nature by engaging our senses with the environment around us.
Join as we enjoy reading nature-themed poetry signs as we stroll through local parks and enjoy the nature around us.
Explore the beautiful, half-mile Rhododendron Garden Loop in Point Defiance Park with other community members.
We’ll meet at the entrance to the garden at the Rhododendron sign. Please arrive 10 minutes early as we will leave for the walk at 3 p.m.
